Cashmate ist ein Sohn des westfälischen Vererbers Cashmere. Cashmere glänzte 2020 im Finale des Bundeschampionats der fünfjährigen Springpferde mit der Silbermedaille im Finale unter Marco Kutscher. Aktuell begeistert Cashmere mit ersten internationalen Erfolgen, u.a. in der Youngster Tour von San Giovanni in Marignano/ITA sowie nationalen Top-Platzierungen bis hin zur Klasse S. Über die Mütterliche Seite vereint Cashmate das Blut des Westfälischen Hengstes Pilot. Pilot war ein Stempelhengst der besonderen Klasse. Er vererbte sich durchschlagend auf der westfälischen Stutenbasis seiner Heimatstation in Sande bei Paderborn. Er traf dort auf viele Adlerorden-, Weinberg- und Direx-Stuten, mit denen er sich quasi im Passereffekt vererbte. Aber eigentlich konnten alle "Piloten" überdurchschnittlich springen, es gab unter den Züchtern den Witz, dass man ihm auch eine Eselin hätte zuführen können, auch die Nachkommen wären "Hauser gesprungen".

Cashmate is a son of the Westphalian sire Cashmere. Cashmere shone in the final of the Bundeschampionat for five-year-old show jumpers in 2020, winning the silver medal in the final under Marco Kutscher.
