Light-footed and careful

The two-year-old Obelotte has many positive traits as a jumper. This very light-footed, elegant mare with blood and presence has a quick takeoff, excellent front-leg technique and wants to be careful.

Sire High Five (international 1.25m level as a six-year-old) is an AES-approved stallion out of the famous championship mare Pialotta, who finished fourth individually at the 2006 World Equestrian Games with Edwina Tops-Alexander. Before that, she was also successful with Steve Guerdat and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, winning medals at multiple European Championships.

Dam Que Belle van het Brouwershof (Cornet Obolensky x Contact van de Heffinck) is a half-sister to Maikel van der Vleuten’s top stallion O’Bailey vh Brouwershof (Darco). These horses descend from Opaline des Pins, dam of Olympic Champion Jus de Pomme and numerous 1.60m Grand Prix horses.

These horses come out of the family of Opaline des Pins, dam of the 1.60m Grand Prix horses Jus de Pomme (Olympic champion Atlanta), Shogoun II, Quintus, Richebourg and Tresor d’Opaline.

 

Note: The two-year-old horses in this auction have not yet undergone radiological examinations. These young horses are still in full development. The sellers have chosen not to have them X-rayed until they are 18 months old. Any radiological examinations can be carried out in consultation and at the buyer's expense.
