I am looking for a new, loving 5* home for my 17-year-old gelding Contus E (affectionately known at home as "Schimmel").
Despite his somewhat advanced age, Schimmel is in top condition and always motivated and gives his all, both in the arena and on the arena or cross-country.
He was trained by my trainer and went show jumping up to medium (M) level, is trained to elementary (L) level in dressage and knows his job very well. I took him on four years ago and have ridden him in several advanced (A) level show jumping competitions. However, as I currently have neither the time nor the means to do him justice and offer him what he deserves, I am now looking for a new dream home for him.

With a height of around 178, he is a truly gentle giant. He has a heart of gold, is always well-behaved and reliable. Despite his gait, he is always very decent, but he wants to be ridden and is therefore not suitable for beginners.
He is also very well-behaved in the field and enjoys every outing, whether alone or in a group.

He really enjoys jumping, but I would like a new home for him where the focus is not on high sport.
He is the perfect partner for more ambitious leisure riders or for starting out on large horses or in smaller jumping classes (max. A).
Schimmel is a great teacher and, due to his careful and gentle nature, is also the ideal horse for lighter riders to learn and have lots of fun with.
I would like someone with horse experience who can give Schimmel the affection and work he deserves.

Gray horses should only be given to the very best hands!
I expect a species-appropriate attitude and age-appropriate work.
