Want to talk about one that’s been everywhere and is as pretty as you could ask for? One to last, one that passed a FULL set of X-rays? One that is just a PRIME age of 7yo that stands an easily mountable 15.2hh but strong enough for any rider?? Here he is!! Big Dale is a true unicorn. This cool gelding has been through any kind of drive through you can think of, kids getting coffee to even suitable for adults through the liquor store drive through lol! Dale has been ridden in the downtown Fort Worth Stockyards, ridden through tractor supply and picked out his very own treats! He has also been ridden on miles of trails with a buddy and alone. He is very sure footed and will go wherever you point him, even up and back down big rocks in the river. Dale will keep you safe with those big sure footed bones and feet. This guy also recently passed a full set of xrays. He is just 7yo but has been proofed and experienced so much in his life. Before we got Dale he was used for a trail riding dude ranch, so he has had a plenty of beginners on his back. Dale safely carried a 13 year old girl through all the videos you see on his YouTube link as well. She even lit a firework sparkler on him and he just stood there! This gelding is a saint. If you’re looking for that “dog” personality that is hard to find, Dale is that. He is the exact opposite of a touch me not, he is a touch me please! He will meet you at the gate and is ready to be scratched all over. Dale absolutely loves food, snacks, anything edible he’s ready for it lol. Such a fun, one of a kind horse. Dale stands exceptionally well for the farrier, he is barefoot because he is just so sound and sure footed, but he will wear shoes if you want him to! He also loves a bath and will stand for you to scrub and wash him. Stands very well to be saddled and mounted. I have nothing but good things to say about this gentle guy. He is also exceptionally broke for a draft cross, very very soft in the face, breaks at the poll W/T/C and neck reins super well. He is easy to ride and guide for anyone. He has been such a pleasure to own. His massive YouTube video should show just exactly how special he is. If you’ve been looking don’t miss out on him. He also wears a size 4 shoe all the way around and stands great for the farrier!
Dale has also been ridden and packed on the last 3 months high up in the Colorado mountains! He has carried beginner riders, as well as packed supplies, even elk, bear, deer, etc!! An absolute beast, can go all day but at the pace YOU ASK. You don’t find many gentle giants like this that can truly do it all.
