April is a beautiful buckskin/dun appaloosa mare that stands around 15.1-15.2hh. She is a 14-year-old and is the one that the WHOLE family can ride and enjoy! My 6-year-old son has had a barrel of fun with her, and he has had her trail riding in multiple states. April will cross creeks, ditches, and logs and navigate rough, rocky areas. She is safe riding in traffic. Older folks and kids of all ages have also ridden in April. She will go any speed you ask her to, but her preferred speed is slow and easy. We have used him around the farm to check cows. She is a confident horse on the trails and will lead the crew and head out alone with no issues! She has been exposed to various wildlife, such as deer or turkey, and will go anywhere she is asked to. She has ridden many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. She will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and all rough terrain while still being sure-footed. April is not cinchy, cold-backed, and does not crib or weave. Here is one horse that the whole family will love!!
