Oakany is a 13 year old, grade, buckskin mare. She is a fancy mare that shows a lot of athleticism! She is a big bodied mare that is built to last. Oakany stands 15 hands and is a very easy keeper! She just completed a 60 day tune up with Grindstone Performance Horses in Ashland, Nebraska. During this time she became softer in her face and her body. She also has been started on the spin and the side pass! Oakany is solid in all gaits and carries herself well! She has a fancy long trot and big stop on her! In the past, Oakany has been ridden English and Western and has even been introduced to Dressage! She also has had experience riding outside and on the trail! Oakany has been hauled to a few local open shows/ play days as well Oakany would be a fantastic performance horse prospect as she is very athletic and loves to work! She is a blank slate and could go any direction you point her! We think she would make a fantastic western dressage, ranch horse, cow horse, rope horse or even speed event horse! Oakany would also love to go to work on the ranch or feedlot and be around cattle! Oakany is on the feelier side and can feel like a lot of horse since she is so athletic. She does best with having a regular job and being rode consistently. Oakany would fit best with an experienced rider who could take her to her full potential!
