Griff is a stout built red roan sabino gelding standing around 15.2-15.3hh, he is a 2015 Draftcross with 4 white stockings. Griff has been owned by a local fellow here in Kentucky who makes his living working on a feed lot ad catching cattle. Griff has been his horse for the last 2 years and he is very good at his job! Pasture roping, doctoring, sorting and herding… he can do it all! He has drug ton bulls, been pushed by mad momma cows and been ridden in the roughest of places catching maverick cattle. In addition to ranching and feedlot work he has been trail ridden in multiple states. He will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He has a smooth jog, a VERY nice lope, a good stop, turns a circle both ways and backs with ease! Griff is a confident horse on the trails and will lead the crew, head out alone with no issues! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed.
