“Boots” is a 11yr old, 14.2h, AQHA gelding. Here is a true all around performance gelding who can be reliable in every discipline. Have you seen his tail? Look again. I know it’s shocking, but that is REAL. This horse has the past luxurious tail I’ve ever seen. 
If you are looking for a fun and reliable horse, both western pleasure, trail, and competitive ring riding— here he is! Boots is very in your pocket and very eager to please his rider! 
           In the barn, Boots stands tied on crossties or to a trailer. He has no bad habits in a stall. He can live inside, or stay out 24/7. He can go out with a mixed herd without issue. Catching him in a big pasture is a breeze! He will follow you like a dog! Boots is currently pastured with goats and other farm animals and has no issues with dogs. Got tarps? Lasso? Scary things in the barn aisle? Boots doesn’t mind! Boots is completely sound!! 
                On the trails, Boots is very brave and eager to cross anything that you ask. He has been used to pony young horses along on trail rides. His working walk helps bring even the most stubborn baby horses along. Boots Crosses water without issue! He is not spooky on the trail and has a ground covering movement. He has great work ethic and can go out trail riding alone or with buddies. Traffic safe and familiar with farm machinery! Take this boy on a weekend getaway and enjoy! 
             Boots goes western, english, and bareback. He is a true performance horse and loves to work. He loves to take a frame and hold the most beautiful jog and lope. Moves off leg with ease. Boots is extremely responsive making it easy to ask for side pass or spin. He is kind of horse who is eagerly waiting to respond to your next ask. Stops on a dime at the word “woah”, or can rocket around the barrel pattern with simple clucking. This is a horse you can turn on and go FAST or turn off and have a PLEASURE jog. We have checked fences with him, chased our goats back into their pen with him, and even caught a naughty horse in the pasture using Boots. He is also extremely willing to trot over small jumps and will gently trot over logs and ground poles if asked! 
             If you want to walk, trot, canter, jog, lope, or jump— this guy does it all. He is also a great 4h type as he loves the speed events. Boots is unfazed by an unbalanced rider and does not react to shifting of weight. This guy is built right and looks just as lovely carrying a full grown man as he does a five foot woman. His gaits are very comfortable and he is an unbelievably beautiful mover as well!! 
                He is up to date on farrier, worming, health certificate, coggins, and vaccines. This guy has the world to offer her new best friend! Shipping can be arranged anywhere!
